Established in March 2004 as a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Survival Innovations, began as a three-person operation in Western North Carolina with a focus on supporting the military with life-saving, protective equipment.
The company continues to expand its employee base as well as having increased manufacturing space to 20,000 sq. ft. in two locations.
Our expertise allows us the unique opportunity to offer a wide variety of products and services to meet the needs of customers in both the military and commercial sectors. We have a design team that can bring a design conception to testing or prototyping to production.

He is an Owner / Manager of Survival Innovations, LLC in Mills River North Carolina. He and two other partners formed the company in March, 2004, with a focus on Aviation Safety Systems encompassing Flotation and Ejections Seats as well as designing and manufacturing safety equipment.
Jason Smith is the owner of Survival Innovations, LLC, founded in May 2004, providing product development and support services for life support products.
Jason’s areas of expertise include product design and development, program management, testing and evaluation, manufacturing engineering, and corporate management.
Survival Innovations has about 35 faithful and hard-working employees whose expertise run from sewing technician to engineer. They are the backbone of the company.
